Cous cous, il piatto nazionale del Maghreb

Il cous cous è senz’altro il piatto nazionale della zona del Maghreb. È dunque mangiato principalmente da algerini, marocchini e tunisini. Ha origini berbere, ed è addirittura antecedente all’arrivo delle popolazioni arabe. Il suo nome nordafricano è seksu in berbero e kuskusu in arabo magrebino. Si è comunque diffuso anche in altri Paesi.
